The FOC (final order cutoff) for SPECTRUM #1 is this upcoming Monday, Oct. 21st. Which means if you want a copy (you know you do), you need to call or visit your LCS (local comic shop, don’t you love all the acronyms?) and pre-order one!
Comic retailers need to be conservative when ordering because, unlike in traditional book publishing, they can’t return copies that don’t sell. Publishers use the number of pre-orders to gauge how many copies to print. So don’t count on being able to waltz into a shop on release day (Nov. 20th) and having it be there on the shelf. It will only be there if folks do the following THIS WEEKEND:
Find your local comic shop here.
Tell them you want to pre-order Spectrum by Rick Quinn and Dave Chisholm.
(You can also pre-order directly from Mad Cave, but that’s not as much fun.)
And if you want to know more about Spectrum, you can:
Listen to me and Dave talk to Byron O'Neal about it on the Cryptid Creator Corner.
Read an interview conducted by Chris Coplan for AIPT: “Spectrum Hums a Different Comic Tune.”
